Valentine's Day took on a whole new meaning at the Mountain View Primary School as employees from National Commercial Bank Jamaica Limited's Cross Roads, Windward Road and Matilda's Corner branches visited the school to spend quality time treating the students to reading sessions as well as pampering them with NCB branded cupcakes. Through the NCB Foundation's ' Love for Reading ' programme, the students from grades one through six, sat in groups and listened keenly as NCB employees engaged and encouraged them to read.

As part of the National Commercial Bank's mantra of building a better Jamaica, NCB Foundation's scholarship recipients recently led a massive painting project at the St. Anne's Primary School. NCB Staff members, parents, teachers, students, and community members joined forces with the recipients as they sought to transform the school. The project, which represents the Foundation's mandate of creating change in the communities in which we serve, included the painting of the grades four and five classrooms, and giving the schools only recreational area a face lift for the upcoming school term.
